Red Hook can feel like a little village of outcasts and artists. Artisans who forgo the bushy beards and twill of their more self-conscious brethren in Williamsburg. Well, paradise for these bohos is The Good Fork. Beloved down to earth Asian influenced eatery from chef Sohui Kim and her husband Ben Schneider. Pork and chive dumplings, Korean style steak and eggs, along with the rigorous adherence to sustainable and local ingredients make for a lively, fresh menu.Being Red Hook, the décor has a vaguely nautical theme and there is a small garden. Its warm, welcoming, down-to-earth feel make this favorite spot for locals and destination spot for those in the know.

If in the mood for something a bit more, well, embarrassing (for you) check out their Gowanus Korean BBQ/Karaoke lounge Insa Korean!
