Forbes Magazine Galleries

60 Fifth Avenue

Located in the Forbes Magazine headquarters, the Forbes Magazine Galleries are a primary source of inspiration for The Forbes Collection, and include exhibits of the fabled Fabergé Easter eggs and jewelry, toy boats, miniature soldiers, presidential manuscripts and fine art.

Permanent exhibits include a display of over 500 toy boats, 12,000 miniature soldiers, and first edition Monopoly sets. In the Picture and Autograph Galleries, rare manuscripts, including Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, are on view. Make sure to visit their website for up-to-date information on the numerous short-term exhibits of paintings, photographs and manuscripts from the permanent collection.

The Forbes Building was designed by Carrère and Hastings, architects of the New York Public Library and the Frick Collection, in collaboration with Shreve and Lamb, the firm that would later design the Empire State Building. It was constructed in 1925.
