New York International Independent Film & Video Festival

181 2nd Avenue

After more than fifteen years, the New York Independent Film And Video Festival has become one of the biggest festivals for independent films in the world, attraction hundreds of productions from around the globe to the Village East Cinema. While the Los Angeles branch of the festival has a certain industry cachet about it, the NYIIFVF is hands-down the more representative of truly independent films, with an understandable emphasis on productions from New York filmmakers.
