RoGallery Museum of LIC is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and engaging diverse audiences through the presentation of their collections, exhibitions, and programs. This means working in tandem with the local community to create exciting new programs, inviting emerging artists to create shows, and maintaining a collection of art from a diverse background of artists. RoGallery Museum does not limit itself to a single region, movement, era, medium, or artist, instead choosing to simply showcase the best art they can find.
RoGallery was built on the back of the 40+ year success of their commercial sister down the street, RoGallery. The gallery was founded in the early 1980s by Gail and Robert Rogal, who would become an art world power couple. They established themselves initially as reputable art dealers of limited edition prints by buying out the entire inventories of several major art publishing companies. Over the years, Gail and Robert Rogal's keen eye for superb artworks has expanded the collection to include thousands of original paintings, photographs, and sculptures.
Today, RoGallery Museum strives to create a space that continues that mission in partnership with emerging artists and both our local and global communities.
