Well, that was quick. It must be that every fifteen years, hipster establishments like the East Village staple Beauty Bar have to re-up their indie cred with either some sort of PBR-fueled Jets/Sharks dance-off or a new location. With Williamsburg no longer a safe cred boost for anyone, it makes sense that the new location of Beauty Bar has found itself planted in the still-seedy Bushwick neighborhood. Expect the same ironic atmosphere and teased-up attitudes of the still-thriving 14th Street location.
