Located one block from the legendary CBGB’s and on the same block as the newly built Bowery Hotel, the Bowery Electric attracts a host of artists and area residents, as well as talent from all over the world, while maintaining a downtown New York elegance and simplicity.

To go along with a stellar line-up of DJ’s and all types of rock’n roll music, The Bowery Electric has a menu of custom cocktails, a sommelier-approved wine list, a full line of fine scotches, bourbons and tequilas, a dozen beers on tap and a wide selection of bottled beers. Happy Hour daily from 5pm to 9pm offers $3.00 of all drinks.

The bar on the main floor accommodates 175 people and has a 25 foot custom built bar made of Wenge, a dark African wood. The room has comfortable leather chairs and booths, blue mohair couches and stools, cocktail tables and custom made bar lamps. The floors throughout are dark hard wood and the lighting soft and low. The private back room can be curtained off with Velvet curtains and space for up to 70.

The music venue downstairs hosts musical performances and a variety of other artistic shows including theater and dance. Past performances include The John Spencer Blues Explosion, Patti Smith, Thurston Moore, The Virgins and Tift Merritt. The room is equipped with full stage, lighting, PA system, projection screen, full backline, as well as a stand-up piano provided by Baldwin Pianos courtesy of the Gibson Company in New York. The bi-level space has original stone walls, a raised bar area and a sunken hard wood dance floor. There is cocktail seating and the room holds 150 comfortably.
