Grab a few drinks and catch a few football matchups, but beware, calling it "soccer" might earn you a red card. The bar "where football is religion" relocated after an eighteen month closure, debuting in a new space on 3rd Avenue in 2013 with an astonishing four floors that include two full bars, a VIP room, and—God help us all—a wine bar, presumably for fans of Paris Saint-Germain. The stairwells between floors are adorned with signed, framed jerseys from some of the biggest stars in international football.
More space means more room for fans at this perennially packed football mecca, but it also means room for thirty beers on tap and, most importantly, two kitchens, one of which features a pizza oven, meaning you can not only ameliorate your blood-alcohol level with some grub, you can enjoy a pretty solid Irish brunch as well.
