This small 300 capacity cabaret style club makes its home in the basement next to what used be Old Folk City back in the 60’s. A fairly new club, the booking is excellent hosting shows of all kinds. Past performers have included Patti Smith, Ike Turner, Yo La Tengo, Me’ shell NdegeOcello, and "The Godfather of Go-Go," Chuck Brown. They serve finger foods and the cute waitress’ are also a plus. Sunday night there’s an open mike R&B. There’s no smoking downstairs, but you can go and have a cigarette on the couch upstairs. The ticket guys are also pretty pleasant and like the waitress' can be pretty darn cute.
