Prince Philip, the most eligible bachelor in Burgundia, can have any woman he wants. But when he declares his engagement to Ivona, a common girl, the realm is scandalized. Genteel facades disappear to reveal cruel and ugly sentiments, as Ivona status and intriguing personality threaten the position of the nobility.

Directed by Omar Sangare in collaboration with choreographers from Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.
