Emotions Matter Inc., a non-profit organization, to advance BPD support, education and recovery, is pleased to announce its 4th BPD Art Show & Fundraiser, “Riding the Waves: Life with Borderline Personality Disorder.
The purpose of the art show is to:
- To raise the public’s awareness about BPD, a highly stigmatized mental disorder.
- To empower artists to tell their stories, fostering self-expression, hope and healing.
- To provide funding for Emotions Matter’s BPD peer support and educational programs.
Emotions Matter launched a national call for art submissions by people with lived experience of BPD. Our jurors reviewed the submissions, and 39 pieces will be featured in the show. The show is an incredible collection of talent and inspiration, revealing the emotional depth of the BPD experience, and celebrating the beautiful strengths of our recovery community.
Our in-person Art Show will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come view art, meet our artists and community members, and learn about borderline personality disorder. Light refreshments will be served.
