Haru Sushi — Upper West Side

433 Amsterdam Ave

The original Haru, opened in 1996 on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Haru Amsterdam is not only one of the longest standing establishments in the neighborhood’s ‘restaurant row,’ but one of the pioneers of Japanese cuisine in New York. Serving both lifelong Upper West Siders and residents new to the area, this local legend has earned its place by continuing to offer great food and great service at great prices.
