Sadly St. Marks's Bookshop closed in February of 2016.

St. Mark's Bookshop was established in 1977 in New York's East Village, a community of students, academics, arts professionals and other eclectic readers. Their specialties include cultural theory, graphic design, poetry & small press publishers, film studies and foreign & domestic periodicals and journals. The fiction section is one of the finest in the city.
